ApplyPilot

MCP.Pizza Chef: Pickle-Pixel

This tool searches Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, and Google Jobs, along with dozens of company career pages, and scores every listing against your resume so you only spend time on the best matches. For each strong match, it rewrites your resume to highlight relevant experience and drafts a matching cover letter. If you also have Claude Code installed, it can fill in and submit the online application itself, uploading documents and answering screening questions. Setup happens from a computer's command line and needs a free key from Google's Gemini service; OpenAI and locally run models are also supported.

What It Does

ApplyPilot is a 6-stage autonomous job application pipeline. It discovers jobs across 5+ boards, scores them against your resume with AI, tailors your resume per job, writes cover letters, and submits applications for you. It navigates forms, uploads documents, answers screening questions, all hands-free.

Three commands. That's it.

ApplyPilot FAQ

Can I use this to apply to jobs without sitting and watching it work?
Yes — once it's set up, it can search, tailor your resume, write cover letters, and submit applications on its own.
Can I use this to just get a tailored resume and cover letter without it submitting anything for me?
Yes — you can run the search-and-tailor part only, then apply to the jobs yourself using the materials it prepares.
Do I need a paid account or subscription to use it?
No — it runs on a free key from Google's Gemini service for the scoring and writing steps; OpenAI and locally run models such as Ollama are also supported if you prefer those.
Which apps does this work with?
It runs from your computer's command line, and for the automatic form-filling step it works together with Claude Code. It is not something you install inside Claude Desktop, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
Is this easy to set up if I'm not a programmer?
Not really — it requires installing software from the command line, including Python and Node.js, so it suits someone technical or willing to follow detailed setup instructions.
Will it solve CAPTCHA puzzles for me during an application?
Not by default — if a site shows a CAPTCHA, that application is skipped unless you add an optional paid CAPTCHA-solving key.
Can it apply to jobs on any company's website, or only major job boards?
It covers job boards like Indeed and LinkedIn, dozens of pre-configured company career sites, and can also attempt other sites during the automatic form-filling step.
Does it ever invent skills or experience on my resume?
No — it's designed to reorganize and emphasize your real experience and keywords, not fabricate new skills or history.
