MCP.Pizza Chef: baranwang

Twenty-one ready-made feeds cover what is hot right now: Weibo and Zhihu hot lists, Douyin and Bilibili rankings, book charts, plus BBC, The New York Times, The Verge and 9to5Mac. Most sources are Chinese and come back in Chinese, so an English-only reader gets real use from only a handful of them. Your own feed addresses can be added too. Nothing needs an account. The last commit was January 2026.

mcp-trends-hub FAQ

Is this still being updated?
The last commit was January 2026. It still runs, but when a source redesigns its site that feed can break until someone fixes it.
Are the results in English?
Only partly. BBC, The New York Times, The Verge and 9to5Mac return English; the other seventeen sources are Chinese and return Chinese text.
Do I need an account or a paid key?
No. Every feed it reads is public, and there is nothing to sign up for.
Can I use this to post or comment on Weibo?
No. It only reads public rankings and headlines. It cannot post, like, follow or reply anywhere.
Which apps does it work in?
Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Cline and Windsurf are all documented, using the same short config snippet.
Can I add a site that is not on its list?
Yes, if that site publishes a feed. You add the feed address as a setting and it becomes another option.
How hard is setup?
Paste one small block into your app's config. Node.js version 22 or newer needs to be installed first.
