Vibe-Coder-MCP

MCP.Pizza Chef: freshtechbro

Fifteen tools handle the paperwork around building something: researching a topic, drafting a product brief, turning that into user stories and a task list, writing coding-style rules, scaffolding a starter project, and drawing a map of an existing codebase. It makes its own AI calls through OpenRouter, so you need an OpenRouter account with money on it โ€” those costs land on that balance, separate from what you already pay for your assistant. The project has been quiet since August 2025.

Vibe-Coder-MCP FAQ

Do I need to pay for anything?
Yes. It needs an OpenRouter account with credit on it, because the tools run their own AI calls. That bill is separate from your assistant subscription, and long jobs add up.
Which apps does it work in?
Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, Windsurf, Roo Code, and VS Code โ€” anything that reads a standard settings file. There is also a standalone command you can run in a terminal.
How hard is setup?
Manageable. A guided wizard walks you through pasting your OpenRouter key and pointing it at your project folder, then you paste a short snippet into your assistant's settings.
Can I use this to plan an app before writing any code?
Yes โ€” that is the main point. Describe the idea and it produces a brief, user stories, and a task list you can work through.
Can I use it at work?
For internal use, yes, but read the license before you build on it. Despite the MIT badge on the project page, the actual license file adds a Commons Clause condition that forbids selling the software.
Is it still maintained?
There is no archive notice, but nothing has changed since August 2025, so treat it as dormant.
Does it change my files?
It writes what it generates into an output folder you choose, and the starter-kit tool produces a setup script for you to run yourself. Read that script before running it. It does not edit your existing code on its own.
