MCP.Pizza Chef: eyalzh

Thirty tabs deep, this lets your assistant tidy up: close what you are done with, group the rest, and put them in a sensible order. It can also search your browsing history, open pages, and read the text of a page once you approve that site. It works with Firefox through a free add-on, plus a small file you drop into Claude Desktop. It cannot click buttons or fill in forms, by design.

browser-control-mcp FAQ

Which browser do I need?
Firefox. The add-on lives on Mozilla's add-on site, and there is no Chrome or Safari version.
Which assistant apps work with it?
Claude Desktop is the supported one, using a file the add-on links you to. Other MCP apps can be pointed at it manually.
Do I need a key or a password?
No. The add-on and the connector talk to each other on your own machine using a secret the add-on generates for you.
Can I use this to clean up a messy browser window?
Yes — ask it to close, group, and reorder your tabs in plain words and it will do it.
Can I have it fill in a form or click a button for me?
No. It deliberately cannot type into, click on, or change a page. It manages tabs and reads text, and that is all.
Will it read my pages without asking?
No. You approve each website before it can read anything there, and the add-on keeps a visible log of every action.
Is it finished and maintained?
It is still updated regularly, with work as recent as July 2026, but the author labels it experimental and suggests watching what it does.
