The flight data comes from Duffel, which gives out a free test key with made-up results instantly, but wants email verification, company details, and payment details on file before issuing the live key that returns real fares. Can I book a flight with this?
No. All three tools only search and read; there is no booking tool and it cannot charge your card. You still book on the airline's own site.
Do I need an account to use it?
Yes, a free Duffel account. A test key works immediately but returns invented results. Real fares need a live key, and Duffel will not issue one until you verify your email, enter company details, and put payment details on file.
Will I be charged?
Not by this tool — it never books anything. Duffel asks for payment details as part of verification. Check Duffel's own current limits if you plan to search heavily.
Can I use this to plan a multi-city trip?
Yes — that is where it earns its keep. One tool handles multi-city routes directly, and your assistant remembers earlier searches so you can compare options in the same conversation.
Which apps does it work in?
Claude Desktop. There is a one-command installer through Smithery, or you can clone the project and paste in a settings block yourself.
How hard is setup?
Middling. The Smithery installer does the wiring, but you still have to get a Duffel key and paste it in, which is the slow part.
Is it still maintained?
It has been quiet since June 2025. It is not archived, but nothing new has landed in over a year.
