Do I need a paid key?
No key to buy. You write a small file listing each site's address, a username, and a WordPress application password, then point the tool at that file. Those credentials sit unencrypted on disk, so guard that file.
Can I use this to publish a blog post?
Yes — it can draft, edit, schedule, and publish posts and pages, and it can walk back through earlier revisions too.
The project promises explicit consent before risky actions. Is that real?
No. Consent and safety code exists in the project, but the part that executes your requests never consults it. Deleting a post, a page, a user, a comment, or a plugin happens the instant it is asked for, with no prompt. Treat it as unsupervised administrator access.
Are all 145 tools really there?
The total is accurate, which is rarer than you would think. The section-by-section breakdown is not. The media section advertises six tools when only four exist, and the alt-text tool listed under search optimisation was never built.
What is the worst thing it could do?
Delete users, deactivate or remove plugins, and overwrite site settings and global styles. Any one of those can take a live site down. Point it at a staging copy first and keep backups.
Can it manage more than one site?
Yes, that is the design. You list several sites in the config file and say which one each request should target.
Do the shop tools cover a whole online store?
Barely. Three of the 145 tools touch WooCommerce. Serious shop work still happens in WordPress itself.
Which apps does it work in?
Claude Desktop is documented, and it works anywhere you can paste a config block. It needs a recent Node version on your machine.
