MCP.Pizza Chef: airweave-ai

Connects your everyday tools — things like Airtable, Dropbox, GitHub, Confluence, Asana, and dozens more — into one place your AI assistant can search. Once connected, it keeps that information up to date automatically, so when you ask a question, your assistant pulls back real, current answers instead of guessing. It works with Cursor out of the box, and with other AI tools that support the Model Context Protocol. Setting it up takes some technical comfort: you can use the hosted cloud version or run it yourself with Docker, and either way you'll need an API key to connect your apps.

What is Airweave?

Airweave connects to your apps, tools, and databases, continuously syncs their data, and exposes it through a unified, LLM-friendly search interface. AI agents query Airweave to retrieve relevant, grounded, up-to-date context from multiple sources in a single request.

airweave FAQ

Can I use this to search across multiple apps like Dropbox, GitHub, and Airtable at the same time?
Yes — once you connect those apps, your AI assistant can pull relevant information from all of them into a single answer instead of you checking each one separately.
Which AI apps does this work with?
It's built to work with Cursor, and because it uses the open Model Context Protocol, it can also connect to other assistants that support MCP, such as Claude or various coding tools.
Do I need an account or an API key to use it?
Yes. You'll need an API key to connect your apps and authenticate your account, whether you use the hosted version or run it yourself.
How hard is it to set up?
It takes some technical know-how. The easiest route is the hosted cloud version at app.airweave.ai; running it yourself requires installing Docker and using the command line.
Can I use this to keep my AI assistant's answers up to date automatically?
Yes — it continuously syncs your connected apps, so your assistant's answers reflect your latest files, records, and conversations rather than outdated information.
What kinds of apps can I connect?
Over 50 tools, including project managers like Asana and ClickUp, file storage like Dropbox and Box, and business tools like Airtable, Attio, and Confluence.
Do I need to know how to code to use it day-to-day?
No, not for asking questions once it's set up — but the initial setup does involve technical steps like installing software or working with an API key.
