Built on the popular HowToCook guide, this gives your assistant a library of Chinese home recipes it can filter by category — seafood, breakfast, meat dishes, staples — and read in full, ingredients and steps included. Tell it how many people are eating, what you are allergic to and what you will not touch, and it will plan a week of meals or simply decide tonight's dinner for you. Nothing to pay for and no sign-in. The recipes themselves are written in Chinese.

本地开发如何打包成 DXT？

1.运行 npm install -g @anthropic-ai/dxt

2.在包含本地 MCP 服务器的文件夹中，运行 dxt init。也就是您 MCP 的根目录，此命令将引导您创建manifest.json

3.运行dxt pack创建 dxt 文件

现在，任何支持 DXT 的应用都可以运行您的本地 MCP 服务器。例如，使用适用于 macOS 和 Windows 的 Claude 打开该文件即可显示安装对话框

Yes, and it asks for no account or key of any kind.

What language are the recipes in?

Chinese. Your assistant can translate them as it reads, but the source recipes are Chinese home cooking.

Can I use this to plan meals around an allergy?

Yes — you give it your allergies and disliked ingredients, and the week is planned around them.

How do I install it?

Claude Desktop users can install a one-click extension file; other apps take a short pasted settings block instead.

Which apps does it work in?

Claude Desktop and Cursor are documented, and any app that supports these connections should work.

Can I try it without installing anything?

Yes. The project runs a public instance you can point a supported app at.
