Job listings are pulled by quietly opening a real browser and reading the pages of Boss Zhipin and Liepin, then handing what it finds back to your assistant in Chinese. Nothing needs to be signed up for. The README also advertises Zhaopin, 51job and Lagou, but the code carries no reading rules for those three, so they return nothing at all. The city you name is folded into the search words rather than used as a real filter, and the project ships without a licence file.

Do I need an account, a key or a paid plan?
No. Nothing to register for and nothing to buy. The optional username and password settings shown in the README are never actually read by the code, so setting them does nothing.
Which job sites really work?
Only Boss Zhipin and Liepin. Zhaopin, 51job and Lagou are named in the description but have no reading rules in the code, so searches against them come back empty.
Can I limit results to one city?
Not reliably. The city you type gets glued onto your search words instead of being used as a filter, and the Liepin request is fixed to nationwide, so results will spill outside the city you asked for.
Will results come back in English?
No. The listings are scraped from Chinese sites and come back in Chinese, though your assistant can translate them for you.
Is there anything I should be careful about?
Yes. It downloads and runs a full background browser to scrape sites that do not offer this data openly, which may breach those sites' terms of use. It also prints its own debug notes onto the same channel it uses to talk to your assistant, a known cause of dropped connections.
Can my company use it?
Be careful. The repository has no licence file at all, and the package and the README disagree about which licence applies, so there is no clear permission to use it at work.
Can I use this to look for a job in Shanghai?
Yes, and it does work, but put the city into your wording and expect some listings from elsewhere to slip through.
