Hancom's 한글 word processor is standard in Korean offices and schools, and this add-on drives the copy already installed on your machine: starting documents, typing and formatting text, building tables and filling them with figures, finding and replacing wording, undoing mistakes, and saving the file when it is done. Nothing gets uploaded and no account is involved. It only runs on Windows with 한글 installed, and the code has not changed since January 2026.

Is this still being updated?
Not recently. The last code change landed in January 2026, so it is quiet but not shut down. It still works if you have the right setup; just do not expect quick fixes.
Does it work on a Mac?
No. It works by remote-controlling the 한글 program installed on a Windows PC, so Windows is required and there is no Mac or web version.
Do I need to pay for anything?
The add-on itself is free, but it does not include the word processor. You need a working, installed copy of Hancom's 한글, which is commercial software.
Do I need a key or an account?
No. Everything runs locally between your assistant and the word processor on the same machine, so there is no sign-up and nothing to paste in beyond the file path.
Can I use this to write a whole report for me?
Yes. You can describe the document you want — title, sections, a table of figures — and it will build and save it, then let you ask for edits afterwards.
How hard is the setup?
It is the involved kind. You download the project, install its Python requirements, then add a few lines to your assistant's settings. A security prompt from 한글 may also appear the first time it opens or saves a file.
