MCP.Pizza Chef: devantler-tech

One program bundles the usual pile of Kubernetes tooling, including cluster creation on Kind, K3d, Talos or VCluster, deployments, encrypted secrets, GitOps through Flux or ArgoCD, and backups, then hands all of it to an assistant so you can describe what you want rather than stringing commands together. Docker on your machine, or a cloud account, is the only prerequisite. Install it with Homebrew, then add the plugin for Claude Code or GitHub Copilot CLI to wire it up.

ksail FAQ

What do I need installed first?
Docker on your machine, or access to a cloud provider. Nothing else is required.
Which apps does it work in?
There is a VS Code extension, plus plugins for Claude Code and GitHub Copilot CLI that register it for you.
How do I install it?
A single Homebrew command, or a Go install if you already have Go set up.
Can I use this to create a test cluster on my laptop?
Yes. That is the main use, and it covers Kind, K3d, Talos, VCluster, and KWOK.
Is it free?
It is free to use, modify, and embed under a licence whose only restriction is not shipping a competing product.
Do I still need to understand Kubernetes?
Some familiarity helps. It removes the tool juggling, not the underlying concepts.
