Which apps does this work with?
It connects to AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Cline, Windsurf, and Claude Code — any tool that supports the Model Context Protocol.
Do I need an account to use this?
Yes. You need a Lanhu design account, and you'll copy a login cookie from your browser so the tool can access your team's files. An optional Feishu (Lark) messaging connection lets it send you notifications, but that part is not required.
How hard is this to set up?
It takes some technical know-how. You'll need to install Python or Docker on a computer and run a short setup script, so it's best handled by someone on your team who is comfortable with basic command-line steps.
Can I use this to pull exact colors, spacing, and fonts from a design file?
Yes — it reads a design mockup and hands your assistant the precise measurements, color codes, and font sizes, instead of just a picture.
Can I use this to turn a design into working code?
Yes — it can convert a design layout into ready-to-use webpage code that your AI assistant can hand off to a developer or use as a starting point.
Does this work with ChatGPT or Gemini as well as Claude?
The tool needs an AI model that can see and understand images, so it works with Claude, GPT, and Gemini alike, as long as your app connects that model through the Model Context Protocol.
What is Lanhu, and do I need to already use it at my company?
Lanhu is a design collaboration platform used mainly by teams in China. This tool only helps if your team already stores its design files and requirement documents there.
Will my whole team see the same information through their own AI assistants?
Yes — once connected, every teammate's AI assistant reads from the same shared notes, so a requirement or design detail one person's AI already found doesn't have to be explained again to someone else's.
