Which apps can I use this with?
Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Cline, and Windsurf can all connect to it, along with any other app that supports the Model Context Protocol.
Do I need an account or an API key?
Yes. You'll need to install and run the memory server yourself, and it also requires an API key for the underlying AI model it uses to organize and search your memories.
How hard is this to set up?
It takes some technical comfort. You'll need to install Python and Node.js, run a setup command, and paste a small configuration snippet into your AI app. It isn't a one-click install.
Can I use this so my AI remembers me across different apps?
