MCP.Pizza Chef: Kentucky-ai

OpenTakeoff lets you measure and calculate materials directly from construction floor plans, right in your browser or via AI agents in apps like Claude Desktop. You can detect rooms automatically, trace plans, and export detailed reports for preconstruction bids. It requires some developer setup but runs fully locally with no uploads, keeping your data private. This tool is built specifically for estimators and AI workflows in construction and flooring projects.

OpenTakeoff

The measurement engine for building plans—built so an AI agent can drive it, and so an estimator wants to.

A takeoff is the act of measuring quantities off a construction drawing. OpenTakeoff does it two ways over one engine: 40 MCP tools for an agent, and a browser canvas for a person. Same flood fill, same scale gate, same math, same record. Every measurement stores its scale, its method, and who made it—which is what makes the output auditable, and what makes it training data.
