MCP.Pizza Chef: superagents-lab

Search1API's official connector covers five jobs: searching the open web across Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Reddit, GitHub, YouTube, Wikipedia and others; finding news; pulling the full text of a page you point it at; listing the links on a site; and showing what is trending on GitHub or Hacker News. Results can be narrowed to certain sites or to the past day, month, or year. The hosted version needs no installation, and you either sign in or paste a key.

中文文档

The official MCP server for Search1API — web search, news, page retrieval, sitemap discovery, and trending topics in one API.

Authentication

  • OAuth-aware clients can connect to the Remote MCP URL directly, then sign in and approve access in the browser.
  • Existing integrations can continue to use an API key from the Search1API dashboard.

Quick Start (Remote MCP)

No installation required. Configure your MCP client with the remote URL. Use OAuth when the client supports it, or provide an API key.

Authentication

Three methods are supported — use whichever your client supports:

Method Format
OAuth 2.1 Connect to https://mcp.search1api.com/mcp without a key and follow the client sign-in flow
Authorization Header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_SEARCH1API_KEY
URL Query Parameter (legacy) https://mcp.search1api.com/mcp?apiKey=YOUR_SEARCH1API_KEY

Prefer OAuth or the Authorization header. Query-parameter credentials can be exposed in URLs, logs, and shell history.

search1api-mcp FAQ

Can I use this to research a topic with sources?
Yes — results come back with titles and links, and you can ask it to fetch the full page behind any of them.
Which apps does it work in?
Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and LibreChat are all documented.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The hosted version connects by web address, though you can run it locally with Node.js if you prefer.
Do I need an account?
Yes — either sign in through your assistant or paste a key from the Search1API dashboard.
Does it cost anything?
It runs on credits: a search costs one, and fetching the full text of each result adds one more.
Can I limit results to a site or a time range?
Yes. You can include or exclude sites and restrict results to the past day, month, or year.
Is it safe to put my key in the web address?
The project advises against it, since addresses turn up in logs and history; use the sign-in flow instead.
