MCP.Pizza Chef: weibaohui
K8m is a small self-hosted dashboard for Kubernetes, the system many teams use to run their apps across servers. It bundles a chat assistant that reads logs, explains error messages, translates confusing settings files into plain language and suggests the command you were reaching for. It also offers roughly 49 cluster tools to outside assistants, with permissions tied to whoever is signed in, so chat never grants more access than the person already has. You run it yourself as a single file or with Docker.

k8m FAQ
Who is this for?
People who already run Kubernetes clusters. It is an operations tool, not a general assistant add-on.
Is it in English?
There is an English readme, but the interface and most of the documentation are written in Chinese.
Do I need my own model?
A model is built in, and you can point it at your own instead, including a local one such as Ollama.
How hard is setup?
You run it yourself, either as one downloaded file or through Docker Compose, then sign in and connect a cluster.
Can I use this to let an assistant make changes in my cluster?
Yes, and permissions follow the signed-in user, so nobody gains extra access by going through chat.
Which kinds of clusters work?
Standard Kubernetes plus AWS EKS, k3s, kind and k0s are listed.
