MCP.Pizza Chef: tsmztech

Fifteen tools cover both the records and the setup side of a Salesforce org: searching for objects, running filtered and grouped queries, creating, updating and deleting records, adding custom objects and fields, adjusting who can see a field, and reading or writing Apex code. It signs in with your Salesforce username, password and security token, or reuses the login from the Salesforce command-line tool. There is no read-only mode and deletions happen instantly.

Salesforce MCP Server

OpenSSF Scorecard

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server implementation that integrates Claude with Salesforce, enabling natural language interactions with your Salesforce data and metadata. This server allows Claude to query, modify, and manage your Salesforce objects and records using everyday language.

Salesforce Server MCP server

Features

  • Object and Field Management: Create and modify custom objects and fields using natural language
  • Smart Object Search: Find Salesforce objects using partial name matches
  • Detailed Schema Information: Get comprehensive field and relationship details for any object
  • Flexible Data Queries: Query records with relationship support and complex filters
  • Data Manipulation: Insert, update, delete, and upsert records with ease
  • Cross-Object Search: Search across multiple objects using SOSL
  • Apex Code Management: Read, create, and update Apex classes and triggers
  • Intuitive Error Handling: Clear feedback with Salesforce-specific error details
  • Switchable Authentication: Supports multiple orgs. Easily switch your active Salesforce org based on the default org configured in your VS Code workspace (use Salesforce_CLI authentication for this feature).

Installation

Requirements

  • Node.js 20+. The server must run under Node — bun is not supported: jsforce's HTTP transport hangs under bun, so authentication appears to succeed but every Salesforce API call stalls until the MCP host times out (see #118). Use npx/node (not bun x) in your MCP client configuration.

Global Installation (npm)

npm install -g @tsmztech/mcp-server-salesforce

mcp-server-salesforce FAQ

Do I need a developer key?
Not a key as such. The default setup uses your real Salesforce username, password and security token, stored in a config file on your computer. You can instead reuse the login from the Salesforce command-line tool, which avoids putting your password in a file.
Can I use this to update a batch of records in one go?
Yes — describe the records and the change, and it writes them all in a single operation.
Can it delete things by accident?
Yes. Deletes and mass updates run the moment they are requested, with no confirmation prompt and no read-only setting. Point it at a sandbox org before you trust it with live data.
How risky is the tool that runs Apex code?
It runs code you did not write inside your live org, using your own permissions. Anything your account can do in Setup, it can do without asking first. Treat that tool as admin-level access.
Which apps does it work in?
Claude Desktop has a drag-and-drop installer file in the repository, and it also runs in VS Code and other assistants that read a config file.
How hard is setup?
Middling. You paste a short config block and supply org credentials. It needs Node 20 or newer, and it will not work under bun — calls silently hang until the assistant times out.
Can it see everything in my company's Salesforce?
It has exactly the permissions of the account you sign in with, no more and no less. Sign in as a restricted user if you want narrower access.
Does it cost anything?
The connector is free and open source. You need an existing Salesforce account, which is paid software.
