MCP.Pizza Chef: TensorBlock

This is a searchable index of thousands of community-submitted tool connectors for AI assistants, letting you look up a specific task — like reading files, browsing the web, or managing a calendar — and find a ready-made connector for it. Once you find one you like, the index gives you a ready-to-paste setup snippet for Claude Desktop, Cursor, or VS Code, so you do not have to write it yourself. Browsing the catalog itself does not require an account, though the connectors you install may need their own keys.

TensorBlock MCP Index turns this community-curated MCP server directory into a hosted, searchable registry for agents and applications. Contributors add servers in markdown; TensorBlock normalizes the entries, generates structured profiles and install-config previews, and serves the index through a free public API.

MCP Maintainer Quick Start

If you maintain an MCP server, the index can give your project a public profile, install-config previews, API metadata, and a README badge.

  1. Add your server in the best docs/*.md category, or use the Add MCP server issue form.
  2. Include install, transport, auth, supported clients, docs, license, endpoint, and tool details when you have them.
  3. After merge, the follow-up comment gives you the public profile URL, API profile URL, install-config links, and badge markdown.
  4. Add the TensorBlock MCP Index badge to your project README so users can jump back to the indexed profile.
  5. Claim your profile or send metadata fixes through the claim profile and metadata improvement forms. Valid profile claims and structured metadata updates generate draft metadata PRs; once reviewed, merged, and deployed, the public profile shows maintainer claim status plus install, auth, docs, license, tool, and verification metadata when available. Claim status is separate from TensorBlock verification.

awesome-mcp-servers FAQ

Can I use this to find a tool that connects my AI assistant to my files or calendar?
Yes — the directory groups thousands of connectors by category, so you can search by task, such as files, calendars, or web research, and see which ones match.
Do I need an account or an API key to browse the directory?
No, browsing and searching the directory itself is free and does not require an account. Some of the individual connectors listed inside it may ask for their own account or key once you decide to install them.
Which AI apps can I use these connectors with?
The directory lists setup instructions for popular apps such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, and VS Code, and many of the connectors it lists also work with other assistants like ChatGPT or Gemini-based tools, depending on the individual connector.
How hard is it to set up a connector I find here?
Difficulty varies by connector: some are a single click, while most ask you to paste a short piece of setup text into your app's settings. Each connector's page in the directory tells you which kind it is.
Can I use this to compare similar tools before picking one?
Yes — because the directory groups connectors by category and shows details like required accounts and supported apps, you can scan several options for the same task side by side.
Is this directory itself something I install, or just a website I browse?
It is mainly a website and a search index you browse, so you do not need to install anything just to look around. A separate installable version also exists if you want to search the index directly from inside your assistant.
Does this directory stay up to date?
The project relies on ongoing community contributions and cleanup, so most entries are current, but it is worth double-checking a connector's own page for the latest setup details before you add it.
